This weeks Memory Cross challenge comes from planting seeds…
This week’s challenge…plant seeds of faith.
This time of year people are scattering grass seeds hoping that out of all of the seeds scattered, some of them take root and grow.
The same is true of the gospel. We need to keep planting seeds…and eventually some will take root and grow into faith…but we should never stop planting!

Memory Cross Weekly Challenge: Give it to them anyway!
Do you get irritated when you see a kid at school or in the mall wearing an offensive shirt?
Do you think less of them because their clothes attack what is right and good?
Then they are exactly who you want to give a Memory Cross Card to this week.
Be courageous, say “hi” and give them a card. Usually kids like that are avoided by other people, and it will be almost shocking to them that you would be kind.
They will also probably take the Memory Cross card and read it!
Another reason we shouldn’t fail to approach this type of kid is that their clothing shows that they don’t really care what other kids think, and therefore they may be the most out-spoken of witnesses for Jesus.

This weeks Memory Cross challenge comes from our need to do as instructed to Timothy and stand firm in our faith and “Fight the Good Fight!”
It reminded me of “Dog tags” for Christian kids that say” “Christ’s Soldier, Enlisted by Him, 2 Timothy 2:4″. The second tag has “Life is…God.”
How cool is that?
So this week’s challenge…stand firm in your faith.
One of the best ways to “fight the good fight” is just to stand firm in our own beliefs and stick to our values. Every day you are faced with decisions to obey God or not. When you choose to obey, you let other non-Christians know that you believe what you say!
This will open the door to share the gospel in powerful and meaningful ways!
Make sure that you haveMemory Cross cards with you to help to spread God’s Word…and so they can have something to take home and remind them of what you shared.
Ok…”fight the good fight” and Go serve the King!!!
